Yama Warashi - At My Mother's Piano

Japanese visual artist Yoshino Shigihara has released a new collection of minimal piano compositions under her alias Yama Warashi, which translates to "Small Childlike Mountain Spirit". At My Mother's Piano features reverb heavy piano improvisations mixed with field recordings to create pieces that feel both haunting and up-lifting.
