Photay - Aeolian

Photay's Aeolian is a brilliant pop experiment that uses slow attacks and volume automation on various elements for an incredibly satisfying push and pull. This infectious and unpredictable gem morphs between styles using spacey breaks, hand drums, steel drums, funky base lines. crackling vinyl string samples, and an endearing chorus. This early track of the year contender is from Photay's latest release Windswept Expansions, which is a reimagined version of their wonderful 2024 LP.
