Lovers Audio’s Favorite Club Tracks of 2024
AKA The Ultimate, Unquestionable, and Definitive All-Time Worldwide #1 Best Club Tracks of 2024. YES! That’s Right! We listened to every track released in 2024 and accurately assessed them all! We’re kidding, that’s insane. Music is subjective, and it’s impossible to determine the “best” tracks of the year with so little time gone by. These are simply our favorites, regardless of hype. Keep in mind we’re not professional writers – We’re just having a bit of fun. What makes a great club track for us? It works on the dance floor. Bonus points for originality. Tracks with AI-generated artwork didn’t make the cut. We’re not affiliated with any of these artists, these are simply tracks we love. So without further ado, here are our unranked favorite tracks of 2024, presented in alphabetical order:
Aldonna - Venus [Re-Leaf Records]
Femme energy channeled through the trippy deep house Australia is known best for.
Amy Kisnorbo & Ron Mercy - Squeeze [Pineapple / Alpha Pup]
Let’s be real, everyone loses their mind for a booty-shaking anthem. ‘Squeeze’ is a flawlessly ratchet execution.
Anton Powers & Lisa Moorish - Just The Way It Is [Self Released]
Anton Powers breathes fresh life into the Lisa Moorish classic—a triumphant tribute to the golden age of house music.
Axel Boman - Space Drag [Studio Barnhus]
We can always count on Axel Boman to include at least one totally unique and often bizarre track on each release. The strange and hypnotic 11+ minute “Space Drag” does not disappoint.
Barbara Boeing - NoLo’s Awakening [Toy Tonics]
The Brazilian DJ’s breezy, Italo-influenced house track simply does everything right.
Biz Miz & Bessa (sco) - Coolin [Happiness Therapy]
Simple, bouncy, and fun. Prime time banger.
Blu:sh - Temptation And Destruction [Kalahari Oyster Cult]
Larger-than-life deep house with a mysterious, macho edge.
Bogdan Ra - What Is A DJ? [Craft Music]
Ever since the devastating COVID-19 virus turned everyone into a DJ, we’ve been scratching our heads asking, ‘What is a DJ?’ We’re not totally sure, but this is cheeky acid at its finest.
Bushwacka! - Heaven On Earth [Rekids]
Bushwacka! has been burning down the house for 20 years now. ‘Heaven On Earth’ is proof that they’ve perfected their craft.
Capetini - Muv Yo Body [Subliminar Records]
“Muv Yo Body” is an arresting track for an unforgettable moment. This is what sweat sounds like.
Chris Flannigan - Get Together [HARDLINE]
You know that jarring moment when you suddenly become abundantly aware of all your senses and notice you can feel your own lungs? This is that feeling.
Cody Currie - No Ice [Toy Tonics]
We’re suckers for silky-smooth, funky, R&B-infused house music. Wanna make this list next year? Do what Cody does.
Dual Monitor - Left/Right [HARDLINE]
Tripped-out tech house doesn’t get much better than this. A++.
Emerald - Freak in the Streets [Heras Records]
“Freak in the Streets” is so menacing we’re afraid not to praise Emerald. All hail Emerald.
Fireground - Spin [Ilian Tape]
A unqiue take on deep house with a wildly funky bassline.
Floorplan & Lowell Pye - Help Is On The Way [Classic Music Company]
Have you ever been so lost that you went to the club alone to dance until you cry your eyes out? This is the kind of music that saves lives.
Fritz Schnackenpfefferhausen - Rippin’ Bongz [Soul Mass Transit System]
High-energy deep house with a whole lot of M1 organ. This is as classy as a track called “Rippin Bongz” can possibly be. Big fun.
Gigi Testa - Sichuan [Rush House Music]
Sunny house music that’s as inviting and soul-replenishing as a warm bowl of mapo tofu.
Goshawk & LYMA - Loyalty [Lumberjacks In Hell]
If you’re reading this and you make tracks as funky and soulful as this one, please contact Lovers Audio at your earliest convenience.
Harba - Transforma [RE:LAX]
A truly massive mind-bender. Yowza.
HiTech - SPANK! [Loma Vista Recordings]
Great art is easily understood by its audience.
James Benjamin & DJ Swisha - Got You Dancin [Breakglass Records]
Old-school flavor made ultra fresh. Got us dancing indeed.
Jarren - Round & Round [Apron Records]
The neo-soul groove of “Round & Round” sounds like how it feels to be smitten. Hubba, hubba.
JKriv & Betty Judd - Waiting 4 Tonite [Glitterbox]
“Waiting 4 Tonite” perfectly captures the early evening magic when you’re getting ready and glowing with hope and excitement. Often, the anticipation is more glamorous than the event.
Joey G II & Klein Zage - Folks Not Guys (Local Artist Disco Dub) [Rhythm Section International]
Klein Zage & Joey G II’s ode to inclusivity and the frustrations of the service industry gets an outstanding remix from Local Artist. This is cosmic disco perfection.
Joolmad - Rebel In You [Limousine Dream]
We don’t know what this robot is trying to tell us, but we’re pretty sure it wants us to dance. Keep on belting out funky robot.
Joy Orbison - Flight FM [XL Recordings]
When “Flight FM” dropped, it was immediately clear it would be getting rinsed. Thankfully, this track could get power-washed and still be absolutely filthy.
Kaufmann - Poolboi [Senso Sounds]
This storming big-room techno track sounds so massive it makes us wonder if Kaufmann’s pool boy is actually Poseidon.
Known Artist - Countdown Edit (Club Mix) [Club Mix]
A seriously effective piano house ripper, oozing with euphoria.
Leod - Untitled 06 [Full Pelt]
Leod’s minimal, hypnotic grooves give space for experimental mixing. DJs will have lots of fun with this one.
LWS - Gum Seleks [TraTraTrax]
Brain melting heat from a wild new compilation on TraTraTrax.
Marsolo - Sense of Style [Koltrax]
“Sense of Style” is the runway anthem about fonts we didn’t know we needed. This is tasteful campiness that can’t be forced. Fabulous!
Morelia - One More Time [Boisha]
“One More Time” is the type of hyper-bouncy fun you felt eating too much sugar at your first sleepover. Try not to snort your candy bracelet.
Mousse T. - All I Want Is The Bass [Peppermint Jam]
Three decades in, Mousse T is sounding as fresh as ever. This cat wrote 'Horny,' so clearly they know what they're doing.
Musclecars & Kamaal - Tonight [BBE]
Yes, “Tonight” captures how truly seductive the New York club scene is, but note its subtle wisdom: we attract what we desire when we’re not desperately seeking it.
Nídia & Valentina - Mata [Latency]
TIP: Mata is the perfect psychedelic oasis for cooling down a dance floor while keeping the crowd fully engaged.
Priori - Lexica [Kalahari Oyster Cult]
An exceptionally nice slice of psychedelic techno to get completely lost in.
Red Rack’em - Italo Disco Banger [Bergerac]
Like Babe Ruth calling his shot, Red Rack’em tends to title tracks appropriately.
Rhode & Brown - XTC [Permanent Vacation]
A flawlessly executed ’80s throwback jam. Be sure to stay hydrated.
Sally C & Eliza Rose - Hips Yo Thighs [Big Saldos Chunkers]
Pure heat. It’s hard to imagine a scenario where this track doesn’t work.
Scarlett O’Malley - Gossip Heavy [Club Cowgirl]
This uniquely bizarre cut is one of the most fun things to happen this year. Scarlett O'Malley is very much on our radar after this one.
Jay Shepheard - The Bell Curve [People Pleasers]
There’s something sinister about the ever-so-slightly modulating melody of “The Bell Curve.” Don’t let the other dancers catch you plotting something evil.
Solomon Rose & Silkie - Dance For Me (5am Mix) [Bedroom Rat Records]
UKG with a rugged edge. This is how you do it.
Stacey Pullen - NA$TY [Mozy Muzik]
The Detroit legend channels Prince for one of the funnest tracks of their career.
Tom Noble’s House of Spirits - Times Are Changing [Razor-N-Tape]
The only constant in life is change. Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. This becomes increasingly true as technology advances at an exponential rate. While it took Tom Noble 15 years to deliver on the promise of House of Spirits, it’s clear it’s an instant classic.
Tom VR - Function [Heart Somersault]
Tom VR’s “Function” does an excellent job of conjuring the attitude of the machines. Just because you buy a printer doesn’t mean you can tell it what to do.
Toribio & Maluca - Werk It Out [BDA Records]
Freaky electro house from New York’s finest. If you ever visit the Big Apple, don’t forget to Bring Dat Ass.
The Trip - My Paradise [Tessellate]
The positive momentum of this deep house cut may actually take you to paradise, even if only for a moment.
Tsepo - Burna [Intercept]
An intricate and colorful workout that gets really weird in the best way.
Wallace - Tanzanite [On Loop]
This track is crazy fun, and trying to explain its brilliance is beyond the scope of our reading and writing level.
Zellmani - Youngheng Forever [Public Possession]
Getting abducted by aliens has never felt so good.
