Upgraded Sequencer: The sequencer has been split into two sections, featuring a new Edit Area that allows for detailed editing without losing track of the overall arrangement. This upgrade includes improved zooming, layout changes, and easy access to editing features, streamlining the music creation process. 

Enhanced User Interface: Reason 13 introduces a redesigned interface with a new color scheme, look, and layout. A new top bar facilitates navigation between different areas, and slimmer dividers provide a cleaner workspace. 

New Browser: All patches, samples, and loops are consolidated into a single, intuitive Browser. Categories and tags make it quick to explore over 20 years of sound design, along with over 1,000 new patches, samples, and loops. 

Five New Devices: Reason 13 expands creative possibilities with the addition of five new Rack devices:

Polytone Dual-Layer Synthesizer: A new synth inspired by the immediacy of hardware classics but with a Reason twist.

Ripley Space Delay: A versatile delay unit designed to add depth and space to your sounds.

Sidechain Tool: Provides volume-shaping for sidechain-style pumping, equipped with advanced features.

Stereo Tool: Allows for precise control over the stereo image of your tracks.

Gain Tool: Facilitates easy adjustment of track levels within your mix. 

Expanded Sound Bank: The sound bank has been updated with over 1,000 new patches, samples, REX loops, demo songs, and song starter templates, providing fresh inspiration for your projects.

Memory: Minimum of 4 GB RAM; 8 GB or more recommended for large ReFills or Rack Extensions. 

Storage: 6.5 GB free system disk space required for the Reason application, plus 8 GB for optional content. Additionally, the program may use up to 20 GB scratch disk space and additional space for cached graphics assets. 

Display: Monitor with at least 1280 x 768 resolution.
